The Pastoral Care has made significant contributions to the service of the hospital. As reflected in its mission, the hospital is "committed to the service of man through quality care towards the attainment of the integral health needs of the total person, his body and soul". The pastoral care plays a very important role in the attainment of this commitment, as it is tasked to provide the spiritual needs of its clients with the aim to project Jesus Christ, the compassionate healer, through caring, sharing, comforting, and offering emotional support. The hospital Chaplain and the Sisters of the Living the Gospel Community (LGC) man the Pastoral Care Team. Daily visits to the patients and counseling are just a few of the services provided, aside from the daily mass at the hospital chapel. The team reaches out to all those who come for medical care regardless of race, color or creed.
