The center was created to cater to women of all ages to be better aware of their health. It offers services such as obstetrics and gynecological ultrasound, sono-mammogram (ultrasound of the breast) and mammography. Biopsy and other invasive procedures of the breast are also performed in the centre. The center has two top of the line ultrasound machines (Medison Accuvix XQ and G.E. Logiq 7) which render superior resolution and image quality (2D, 3D, and 4D images) for better diagnostic accuracy. 4D or live 3D images of the fetus are available. A space is available for a third ultrasound machine in the near future. Our mammogram machine is also the top of the line from Siemens (Mammomat 3000). Together with a dedicated Kodak mammogram processor, the image quality of our mammograms are world class. This results in a better and more accurate diagnosis of breast lesions. Questionable lesions are correlated with ultrasound findings. Biopsy can then be done on the same day. The center is unique because it is a one-stop shop for detecting and diagnosing breast lesions.
